Memorial Experience in Johns Creek

Acres of respectful memories, along beautifully manicured grounds.

I am an American, fighting in the forces that guard my country and our way of life, I am prepared to give my life in their defense.”

Every service member, regardless of sex, race, religious belief or other, voluntarily raises their hand, pledging the 6 Articles of the Code of Conduct, when entering our military forces. These grounds pay tribute to those brave individuals from every battle since WWI.

About The Memorial Walk

The Veterans Memorial Walk at Newtown Park stands as symbol of remembrance and respect for all the men and women who have and currently serve in the United States Armed Services. The four-acre memorial, features a hard scraped trail, circling a newly installed fountain, sponsored granite benches, a grand entrance plaza, and wooden gazebo.

Along the trail, black granite monuments pay homage to each conflict, beginning with WWI and include special monuments for Purple Heart Recipients, POW/MIAs, and Women in Service. The Memorial Walk is sponsored by the Johns Creek Veterans Association and the organization works to ensure the entire memorial is constructed using donations.

Allow Your Heart to Feel a Tug…

It’s okay, we’re right there with you. Strolling the paths has a sentimental effect on just about everyone who visits.  Never a rush for your visit.

The Veterans Memorial Walk would not have been possible without all of the generous donations and sponsors. Please continue to support this effort and further development of this amazing monument to our service women and men. Donations of any size are welcome for the walkway pavers, monuments, park benches, entrance plaza, and the gazebo.

Remember those you love who served with a beautiful paver. Businesses, non-profits, churches, etc. may also select a paver for all branches as well.

COLOR GUARD FOR YOUR EVENT

We are more than happy to present our Nation’s Colors in either a three or four person format. The Color Guard does not charge to perform at functions. Donations however, are greatly appreciated.
