What’s not to enjoy about Newtown Park in Johns Creek, Georgia? Enjoy the splendors of nature, hiking or riding the pristine, scenic paved trails. Take your faithful pup for an energetic romp at Newtown’s Dog Park. Enjoy the talent of many free open-air concerts at the amphitheater under the stars.

What you might not know, is that Newtown Park is also the home of one of our nation’s most beautiful and inspirational military memorials, maintained by the Johns Creek Veterans Association (JCVA). Our Memorial Walk honors the heart, the backbone and courage of those who made and make it possible through every battle, for us to enjoy our freedoms.  Enjoy a solemn stroll on our grounds, where you will find monuments for battles in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and more.

The JCVA endeavors to provide support to a variety of veteran activities and to veterans themselves based on:

Outreach to returning veterans to encourage their participation in the club and to assist these veterans in obtaining the benefits earned by their service.

Social Function – Promote the general welfare of members of the association and their families.

For Your Event

COLOR GUARD

You may request the JCVA Color Guard to perform at your event. We are more than happy to present our Nation’s Colors in either a three or four person format. The Color Guard does not charge to perform at functions. Donations however, are greatly appreciated.
